This is going to be difficult since we took over 700 pictures during our 2 weeks in Ireland, but here are a few of the best of the best. Above: Our first official stop in Dublin, the Guinness brewery of course! We enjoyed the tour, then Brian enjoyed his complimentary Guinness at the top of the building in the Gravity bar...great 360degree view of Dublin. I also had a Guinness, but I can't say I enjoyed it anymore than I do at home, which is not at all.

Brian got picked to be a whiskey inspector at our tour of the Jameson Distillery...he even got a certificate at the end! Again, the tour was fun and informative and we got complimentary Jameson drinks at the end.

On our first night in Dublin, we followed a pub crawl outlined in one of our tour books. Jet lag...what jet lag? Our first stop ended up being one of our favorite bars in Ireland, Doheny and Nesbitt. We had some great conversation with Joe the bartender and he was nice enough to let us step behind the bar. By the way, I swear we did more in Dublin than drink! We also did a ride through Phoenix park and along O'Connell street, saw the Book of Kells at Trinity College, walked along Grafton Street, and stopped to see a few churches.

Here is Brian peeking out the window at Kilkenny Castle. It was awesome inside and out!

This is the backside of Kilkenny Castle in the gardens. Again, we took in several historical and very old churches in Kilkenny, Rothe House, and of course a few pubs.
Ireland continues on next post!
